    "Did you say Ecstasy Sound?"
“I wonder where that name came from?” Yes. Unfortunately some people attach the name with colorful little treats and illegal activity. Our team is 100% drug free! If you were wondering why the owner named the company the way it is, just take a look at the word’s definition below. He tried to convey a certain atmosphere and environment one feels when working with us and experiencing our performances…

    ec•sta•sy (ĕk′ stə - sē)
    n. pl. ec•sta•sies
    1. Intense joy or delight. / 2. A state of emotion so intense that one is carried beyond rational thought and self-control: an ecstasy of rage. / 3. The trance, frenzy, or rapture associated with mystic or prophetic exaltation, a state of being carried away by overwhelming emotion; "listening to sweet music in a perfect rapture" - Charles Dickens / 4. A state of elated bliss.

    "How much do you charge?"
As a high-end entertainment company, there are a number of different options for you to choose from basic background music to sophisticated multimedia presentations and elegant productions. Our wedding packages typically range from $895 on up. We do not disclose our fees blindly without hearing the particulars of your event first so we can recommend the best package for you.

"I can get another company to do my event for hundreds of dollars less?"
This is, of course, a common question. And the easy answer is: Yes, you can. However, like most investments, the cheapest option is seldom a bargain in the end. Ask yourself what it is that you remember about the last wedding or party you attended. For many of our clients the answer is: The entertainment…for good reasons or bad! With this in mind, and with the understanding that your guests’ lasting impression of your event is how much fun they had, is this really the part of your event budget that you want to trust to “the cheapest quote?” The best advice we can offer is: make an appointment, sit down with us, and discuss ideas for your event. We guarantee we will show you the difference!

"Is there a large variety of music available for requests?"
Yes. You will be amazed at the depth and ease of use of our music request tool on your planning website. With our enormous digital catalog of professionally edited music, our DJ’s are proud of being “tough to stump” your guest requests. During your initial consultation, we will also match you with an Entertainer experienced in whatever specific cultural music you may have in mind, as well.

"Do you have a list of songs?"
Yes. Upon booking, our clients will be given access to our innovative song database. Here, you can form a song list, even listen to titles!

    "How will you dress?"
We dress for the occasion. Formal attire is full black tuxedo. Non-formal events we dress to fit in. The decision is yours.

"Can someone also act as emcee and announce dances or events?"
All of our Entertainers are prepared to emcee your event and announce all dances and events. Some events lack a “coordinator” to make sure the party runs smoothly; no problem! We recommend selecting a package with additional personnel.

"Is everything in place before the guests arrive?"
Yes. Our staff will set all of the sound and lighting equipment up before your first guest arrives. No tacky interruptions during dinner or testing music during cocktail hour. A complete sound and lighting assessment is performed well before hand. If your event calls for music later in the evening but you need us to be set up before hand, we can accommodate this as well. A stand-by fee will apply as we cannot leave our equipment unattended at an event due to insurance regulations.

"Will you play background music during dinner?"
Yes. We have a variety of easy listening and jazz selections to compliment your meal at volume levels that be conducive to hold a conversation.

"What if I need you past our original contracted hours?"
Our overtime rates do not change the day of your event. The rates vary with the package you select, but are typically around $150/hour.

"What if you don’t have a song that I am looking for?"
If we don’t have it within the time you hand us your request sheet (2 weeks before event) we will get it. We are happy to play CD’s that you provide us with.

"Do you require a retainer? A deposit?"
A deposit is often refundable. A retainer is not. Your date will be reserved with a retainer of 50% your total package price. It is due at the time of booking. All events are reserved on a first-come-first-serve basis.

"When is the retainer due? What about the balance?"
Retainer is due when you reserve your engagement: You will have 2 weeks from the time you request our service to read the contract and send in the deposit. During this time, your event date is put on “hold” and cannot be booked by another party. If the deposit is not received after the two weeks, your date will no longer be held and may not be available.

The balance is due no later than 14 business days prior to the night of your engagement. Balances may be mailed to Ecstasy Sound Entertainment, 93 West Main, Webster NY 14580. Cash may be delivered in person to our offices upon request, by appointment.

    "Are you insured?"
Yes, all of our equipment and personnel are 100% insured, including liability insurance. We make this sheet available to all of our clients. If your venue require they be placed on our policy, a fee of $50 will be charged.

"Do you usually eat during my event?"
We require that your Entertainer is included with the meal, and are provided with non-alcoholic beverages upon request free of charge.

    "How about alcohol or smoking?"
Absolutely not. There is a strict company policy that prohibits Entertainer from drinking alcoholic beverages or smoking while working. The same policy prohibits abusive comments or foul language on the microphone.

"Do you have back-up equipment or extra personnel?"
There is ample equipment on hand in case an emergency arises. Furthermore, there is always someone on call to cover personnel emergencies such as: accidents, death, or serious illness. We are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to ensure that your event runs smoothly.

"Do you travel outside of Monroe County?"
Yes. Due to the increasing fuel costs, our travel fee will be included in your package price.

"I am planning a wedding in your area but I am out of town. What do I do?"
This can be a very stressful way to plan a wedding, but it does not have to be as we are here to help you. Once you book, you will have access to 24/7 customer support to plan your event via our website from anywhere in the world!
