The Encore Seminars Series
Encore Events, and our sister company, Black Label Events & Design, are proud to release our initial schedule for our 2016 Encore Seminars Series. Our seminars are small workshops, led by our in-house team of experts, to help navigate some of the hurdles Wedding Couples face as they plan their "Big Day." Space is limited, and Encore Clients get priority registration, but the seminars are free and you do not need to be our client to attend. Read the descriptions of the seminar offerings below and use the form to register! May 11, 2016 6pm- Wedding Timelines
Join us for a great discussion on the creation of a perfect wedding timeline, led by Encore's General Manager, John Roach. Let John's decade of experience in managing wedding receptions guide you to create a timeline that perfectly captures the vibe the wedding that you are looking for. Discussion will include how wedding timelines look in different cultures and geographies, how to best stage your formal events, and how to control the energy of a reception with expert timing. Join us!
May 26, 2016 6pm- Do I need a planner?
There are few questions we get more than: "How Do I Know If I Need a Wedding Planner?" Join the discussion led by Black Label Event and Design's Lead Designer and Planner, Brittney LaVoie, as we explore that very question. Let's converse about how a planner or coordinator's work is different than the coordinator at your wedding venue. Brittney will cover the ways that wedding clients use a planner to coordinate a group of vendors to achieve the exact reception "look" and design they see on Pinterest or other sources of inspiration. Discussion will also cover the hidden "landmines" and tricky logistics, which nearly every wedding couple faces during their planning, that a coordinator can help you avoid. It's a great topic to explore, even if you are pretty sure you don't need a planner.

In this incredibly informative workshop, Black Label Event and Design's Brittney Lavoie will help wedding couples remember "All of the Little Things." There are a million little details for wedding couples to remember when planning a wedding. The Big One's are easy to remember: Dress? Check. Reception Venue? Done. But what about the little details? When you do need to have invitations sent by? When should thank you cards go out? How much do you tip the photographer? The list may seem daunting. Bring your Big Wedding Binder and let Brittney help you make a plan for "All of the Little Things."
